How to Use Interval Direction Options

Being able to control whether you want to practice intervals going up, down, or both is now live in NoteNerd: Voice. This makes the app much more approachable for beginners who need to start with intervals going up only, and it makes it more challenging for advanced students who want to include intervals going down.

You can change this option any time by following these steps:

1

Tap “Intervals” under “General Exercises”

2

Select any level and tap “Start”

3

Tap the new “Interval Direction” dropdown

4

Select the direction in which you’d like to practice intervals

These new features apply to all levels of Intervals exercises, and will stay the way you set it until you change it. So it doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned voice student, NoteNerd: Voice now gives you the ability to customize the challenge level for your current skill level.
